- We advise you to favour bank transfer rather than cheque payment. A bank cheque may be a fake, stolen or bad cheque. - Make enquiries about the buyer to be sure of his/her good character. - Be careful with buyers who contact you from abroad and propose you bank transfers through Western Union, MoneyGram, Mandat Cash. - Do never let anybody take the equipment until you have the guarantee of its payment.
- Give priority (if possible) to local ads. - Be wary of ads that are too attractive, with very low prices. - Make enquiries about the seller to be sure of his/her good character. - Make enquiries about where the equipment comes from (invoice, maintenance notebook, background, ...). - Meet the seller and go on the spot to inspect the equipment. - Do never pay a seller you don't know in advance. - Only pay the equipment at the collection or delivery.
